Unlike many other bathtub refinishing companies in Chicago, our warranty primarily covers peeling and adhesion failure — with no standard maintenance exceptions. Our promise is simple and clear:

Warranty Terms

Usage of Paint Strippers & Solvents

Paint strippers, certain solvents, hair dyes, and essential oils can damage, burn, de-gloss, or stain the refinished surface. These damages are not covered by the warranty, though we can repair most issues for a service fee.

Accidental or Neglect Damages

The refinished surface is durable but not bullet-proof. Chips, scratches, or holes caused by falling or sharp objects are excluded from the warranty. Prolonged dripping faucets may also cause deformation, which is not covered. We offer repair services for these conditions.

Improper Use of Anti-Slip Stickers or Mats

We encourage using removable bath mats and recommend drying them regularly. Leaving mats in place constantly can cause uneven wear or staining due to trapped water and mineral deposits. Bath stickers and adhesive anti-skid solutions can damage the coating if removed. These are not covered by the warranty but can be repaired.

Warranty Transfer

Our warranty is fully transferable to a new owner. To transfer, provide the original invoice and contact Tub Renew Chicago for confirmation.
